It's up to you to decide what your Hashtag means!
Is it a political statement? a pop culture sign? or just a very old symbol for “number”?
C O N C E P T
Sinds social media took over the world, our lives have been “Hashtaged”.
Where it used to be a symbol for ‘number’ it now is the symbol for everything and anything.
Global movements like #metoo made it a way of showing connection, resistance and sharing. The # was granted this new globally accepted symbolism only in the 21st century. This is what inspired this small collection of hashtags. It's the Ode to the 21st century symbol.
F I N A L R E S U L T
The project resulted in a small collection of colored pins. They are laser cutted from Synthetic plexi plates and come in six different colors: soft pink, bright red, light blue, dark blue, dark purple, leaf green
size small: 18mmx26mm
size big: 25mmx38mm
At studio faut we focus on the stories behind the design. so you can wear them, hang them on the wall or just admire them. because we understand that beauty is also found within.
